13 Week Total Body Makeover

This is the most comprehensive exercise program we offer.

(39 Sessions)

This program involves a high degree of dedication. You will meet with a trainer 3 times per week depending on the length of program you are enrolled in. During this time you will perform resistance training, strength training, cardio training, and core training for a total body workout.

Our trainers will design a customized nutrition program for you that will assist in maximizing your success and teaching you healthy eating habits that will benefit you for a lifetime. A fitness assessment will also be done prior to starting your program so that we may track your progress.

This program also includes:

  • 1 Massage Session at Timberlake Massage and Wellness
  • 1 Lifestyle Coaching Session

Corporate Wellness Program

By providing corporate wellness activities, Wellness for Life can help reduce your employees’ risk for heart disease, increase productivity, and reduce health insurance costs.

Wellness for Life focuses on prevention and intervention to reduce employee sick days and stress in the working environment. As a result, our corporate wellness program can benefit both employers and their employees.

Wellness Lifestyle for Kids

Lifestyles and behaviors are established early in life. Therefore, it is important to focus on these at an early age. W4L has 2 exciting and fun programs for kids age 5 thru 12.

Effects of Childhood Obesity
Overweight children are at higher ricks of developing the following serious health problems:

  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Metabolic Syndrome
  • Asthma and Other Respiratory Problems
  • Sleep Disorders
  • Early Puberty
  • Eating Disorders
  • Skin Infections

The social and emotional fallout of being overweight can be just as damaging to your child’s self esteem. Being overweight can have a great impact on your child’s behavioral and learning abilities. Overweight children tend to have more school related anxieties from being outcast which greatly affects their academic performance. Social isolation and low self esteem can cause overwhelming feelings of hopelessness. When children lose hope that their lives will improve, they are well on their way to depression. Either way, depression is as serious in children as in adults and should be treated as such. Often children haven’t developed proper coping techniques to deal with these feelings of anxiety.

Lifestyles and behaviors are established early in life. Therefore, it is important to focus on these at an early age. The first step is to assess the readiness of your child to engage in a weight management program.

At Wellness for Life, we try to incorporate lifestyle and behavioral changes along with a healthy meal plan and a toning/muscle building program designed to meet your specific needs. The primary goals of an overweight child should be to develop a corrective eating plan and increase their physical activity. Increased physical activity can decrease or slow the increase of fatty tissues in obese children. Time, intensity and variety are three important concepts to enhance the impact of physical activity. Children should take part in at least 60 minutes of age appropriate activities daily with various levels of intensity.

Quick Facts
Obesity in early childhood can lead to adult obesity. The goal for obese children should be to maintain weight or reduce the rate of gain.

Obesity is clinically diagnosed as greater than or equal to the 95th percentile Body Mass Index(BMI), age and sex specific.

At Wellness for Life, Brian Kenney, certified personal trainer and aerobics instructor is presently completing his Bachelors in Exercise Science. He is dedicated to helping others improve their quality of health through exercise and corrective eating habits to improve self-esteem, self motivation and create a healthy lifestyle change.

Working with clients on a one-to-one basis throughout the training allows him to keep clients accountable for their own personal development and lifestyle changes.

6 Week Boot Camp for Kids - (2) 1 hour sessions per week Jumpstart program designed to motivate and encourage physical activity.

  • Body Mass Index(BMI) (Body Fat) measurements will be charted at the beginning and end of the program to track progress
  • Assess dietary intake and make suggestions for healthier alternatives
  • Lifestyle coaching to create a positive attitude and higher self-esteem
  • Introduction to basic conditioning techniques, stretching, and aerobics exercises
8 Week Fun & Fit Kid Program - (3) 1 hour sessions per week
  • Body Mass Index measurements charted throughout the program to track results
  • Cardiovascular, Aerobics, and Kickboxing exercises
  • Toning and Muscle Building with resistance bands, low weight dumbbells and stability balls
  • Meal Plans established for a healthy lifestyle provided

Total Body Transformation

For the total body transformation, your trainer will design a customized nutrition and fitness program to maximize your success and lock in that healthy mental and physical paradigm shift that will benefit you for a lifetime.
